EAT, SLEEP, CAVE, REPEAT
Extremely rare footage of M! As most of you know, apart from being extremely camera shy, I’m also a member of Metropolitan Speleological Society (MSS) – amongst other clubs! One of our members, Alan Green, and I were talking about how hard it was to get members, particularly younger members, to join caving clubs. It might surprise some of you that there are only a little over 1,000 cavers in Australia who belong to clubs, very select group eh?
Anyway, Alan suggested about two years ago that we should have a video to promote caving (and canyoning) to people who aren’t currently in a club. Alan is in the business and so he started filming at pretty much every activity he went on! A lot of the filming occurred down in Tasmania at the ASF Conference in January. And so …. here it is, Eat Sleep Cave Repeat – enjoy. Please feel free to share this with friends, family, co-workers, it would be really cool if this video went viral! – and your challenge “where’s M”?
Great advertising video – well done Alan.
Don’t you find ‘our’ bushwalking rather mild by comparison?
Thanks for sharing M
Yes, pretty good isn’t it! No, bushwalking has its challenges too, and when you think about it, I’ll be able to bush walk much longer than canyoning and caving (lol)
That was so cool and very professional. I did hope to see more footage of you , but I know you don’t like cameras, so I should be grateful you featured at all!
Jen xx
Yes, the footage is pretty impressive isn’t it!
