WATAGAN MOUNTAINS – Unnamed side creek of Gap Creek – 8 October 2017
After our exploration of one of the Gap Creek side creeks back in April, Laurie A suggested that we check out another creek which he dubbed “Asterisk Creek”.  This creek wasn’t actually a side creek of Gap Creek, it ended at the cliff line (possibly 70m), and then was just a gully beyond according to the map. Slots and canyons on Sunnyside Ridge

SUNNYSIDE RIDGE – Newnes Plateau 25 – 27 August, 2017
When I got the bright idea for this weekend, it looked like I’d have a cast of thousands following me through the bush, but as it happened, there were just four (five on Sunday), and that probably was a good thing. The Undressed Lady Circuit – Jenolan

JENOLAN CAVES – 19 & 20 August 2017
The lead up to this trip was very exciting, 10 MSS members had signed up, and then they started dropping like flies … broken collar bone, retina surgery, 2 cases of the flu and then a dodgy back!  So, we were down to six for Saturday and four for Sunday.  To top it all off, when David and I drove into Jenolan on Friday night it was through a snow storm … we were unsure that the others would make it to the hut!
